A Royal Russian Heritage Inspires the Creator
of the Faery Folk
September 5, 2005
Publication: Toy Directory Monthly
Did you know that the creator of the Faery Folk is Tatiana Romanov,
a direct descendent of the Romanov's of Imperial Russia? Her grandfather
was Prince Vasili Romanov, Czar Nicolas' nephew and Czar Alexander
II grandson.
The Russian people believe deeply in the existence of faeries,
or the Domavoi, as they are called in Russia. The Royal Family
were no exception and entertained their children with stories
about the Domavoi living in the forests and even in their homes.
It was these stories that were told to Tatiana by her grandfather,
Prince Vasili. Years later, those memories inspired her to create
the Legends of the Faery Folk!
Read this interesting online article and learn how the Faery
Folk® were conceived. Additionally, learn why we
believe your children and clients deserve to be playing with a product
that encourages a healthy view of the outdoor environment. After all,
belief in the world of the Faeries helps children care for their own
world.
