Dervish Toys Raises Wholesale Price
February 4, 2006
Responding to the devaluation of the Chinese Yeun and the increase
in petroleum costs, Dervish Toys has increased the wholesale cost
of its Faery Folk Collectible Dolls (R) and Storybook line.
In 2005, the product line was being sold for approximately $12.50
per doll. For 2006, the cost per doll and storybook has increased
to $13.00. The retail price depends on each retailer's location
and circumstances.
Each doll is elegantly packaged to stand out from competitor's products
and includes a storybook that provides the personal story of each
character as well as activities that the parent and child can accomplish
together.
Inspired by countless faery and folk tales from around the world,
The Legends of The Faery Folk (R) line launches this May
with six visually unique dolls that span a range of cultures. Each
doll comes with a booklet that tells its personal story, and contains
a craft project that child and parent can create together. The Faery
Folk stories are updated on their website (www.TheFaeryFolk.com),
so parents can easily download, print, and read them to their children.
