The
Faery Folk® Bring Smiles in Colorado! Donation to local charities
exceeds $18,000
The award winning Faery Folk Collectible Dolls and Story Booklets
will make their way to the less fortunate of our community this
holiday season.
Dervish Toys has happily taken a portion of its inventory and donated
it to the children of the Roaring Fork Valley and outlying areas.
By way of TIA's Toy Bank, Dervish Toys was connected with the local
United Way of Garfield County. They were thrilled to find that quality
products, and not Walmart discount junk, were available for the
less fortunate of our community- and locally!
"We receive emails from Gifts in Kind all the time notifying
us of toy products available for donation in regions or states very
far from Glenwood Springs," said Micaela Folsom, the Executive
Director at United Way of Garfield County. "We were thrilled
to discover that a high quality product was available in our neighborhood.
It's unheard of! Once the call went out and we showed your website
to the local charities, they all wanted to get their hands on the
Faery Folk."
At Dervish Toys, we are excited by the prospect that children across
our region will have the Faery Folk to play with and read about
because of our donation. The knowledge that children in need will
find comfort and joy from something we created out of nothing!
We are happy to provide assistance to the following organizations:
United Way of Garfield County
Childhelp Bridge Center
Colorado Mountain College Glenwood Kids Center
Rifle Human Services
Grand River Hospital District
Carbondale Headstart
Colorado West
ABOUT DERVISH TOYS
Dervish Toys is the sales and marketing arm of Dervish
Media, exclusively for toy brands. It is responsible for marketing
the toy products developed and produced by Dervish Media.
Dervish Toys is proud to present their first product- the Faery
Folk(R) collectible dolls and storybooks.
The first element of The Legends of the Faery Folk(R) property
is a dream come true for co-founder Tatiana Romanov, whose grandfather
was a Russian prince expelled during the Bolshevik revolution. His
wondrous tales of Russian faeries inspired her to create a line of
faery dolls to spark the imaginations of children worldwide.
A line of six distinctive, highly crafted collectible dolls with unique
costumes and story books, the Faery Folk (R) also have a dedicated
Web site (www.theFaeryFolk.com) with corresponding personal histories.
Dervish will follow its initial wave of wholesale doll sales with
a book, a line of officially licensed apparel, and a video series.
